Just finished my latest sculpture.
I recently built a cabinet of curiosities for myself to exhibit the various strange creatures i make. This one resembles a prayer mantis with glittering fairy-like wings. In this sculpture i use copper wire, taxidermy grass eyes , an antique watch movements and many miscellaneous jewelry findings.

This is a really cool creation. With the use of simple shapes a clever design for a bug emerges that appears cohesive. I get the feeling that this could be used in a stop motion movie. The only thing I would change, and this is a personal preference, are the eyes. They convey a sense that the creature is sickly and/or maybe a little unhinged, like it could attack a person at any moment. If this is what you were aiming for then keep it. Otherwise I would change them to something else. And that's it really. Excellent work.
