I am not enough of an artist to write a critique to the standard you are likely after, but i can certainly appreciate the detail and work involved in this piece.
It's ethereal....I'll give you that.
If that is indeed an eye on its' tail, that is an excellent image to add to the already feared spectre of the deadly scorpion.
Perhaps they are, as communicated here in my eyes, just a machine of nature doing what it is created to do. Kill those that threaten its' path.
It's good to see the art of the automaton making a comeback after too long in the shadows.
