My only suggestions are literary. Perhaps you could add some description of the materials you have used. The inspiration for this piece would also be a nice touch.

Artistically, you really hit the nail on the head. It is certainly eye catching and in a good way. I am very taken with the band as I have never seen one like that before. And your technique seems to be perfect from what I can tell from the photo. Kudos!
