As the owner of this cuff, I feel as though I can critique it on a higher level than anyone who is just looking at it. I haven't written a critique before, but I think this is a good place to start. Here goes.

1. Construction
An aspect of this piece that works very well is the design and the way it is assembled. This piece is original in two ways: it's literally one-of-a-kind since the watch movement cannot be duplicated, and the base design of *CatherinetteRings' cuffs as a whole is one I haven't seen before. Both of these aspects make this piece quite desirable.
Something I didn't expect is, the little round pieces are actually beads that jingle & move. This is not undesirable to me personally; in fact I like the sound they make. I also feel that it adds depth and a fun interactive aspect to the piece.
The only downside in the construction is, the watch movement centrepiece of the cuff jiggles and feels a bit loose. I don't think it's on the verge of falling off, but it still makes me a little nervous.

Materials
The wire used in the main body of the cuff is very sturdy. It gives just the right amount of bend without feeling floppy or fragile. The hook/clasp end is a nice touch; it adds a nice filigree element that brings out a fancier steampunk look.
The only negative thing I can say in terms of materials is regarding the type of metal used. It's unclear what type of metal the beads, hook, and wire are made of, and I don't know how time will treat them.

Technique
The thinner wire is woven around the thicker wire very tightly and with precision. Furthermore, the thicker wire is bent and formed very well. Both sides of the cuff (on either side of the watch face) are symmetrical to each other, something that in wire bending is probably not very easily achieved. I really enjoy *CatherinetteRings' usage of large and small beads, in addition to frames around the large beads, to vary the size of loops in the large wire. The whole piece is held together with the thinner gauge wire - it's very impressively and seamlessly done.
My suggestion for improvement on technique (and the reason for 3.5 stars) is because of the way the bracelet is clasped. The hook connects to the other side of the cuff in a way that causes the end of the hook to dig into my wrist. There should be another place to hook the clasp on to that allows the hook to lay flat against the wrist.

Overall
It is a very impressive and well-made piece. Whenever I wear it out somewhere I get compliments.
Again, the only reason for a star reduction is because of the clasp, something that can easily be fixed with a jump ring or two!
